This album is a response to how the world currently operates, and the dangers we’re facing - I’ve embraced a feeling of non-conformity and developed sensorial, almost tactile sounds that star the tracks in curious, bold and surprising ways.

I have achieved this through live recordings of sound design experimentations for each sound, and allowing them the space to develop and take key roles in the story.

“Realise” features an alert percussive rhythm and wide, continuous atmospheres blended together to create a feeling of expectancy. As the track evolves, the sounds increase in intensity and dynamics, reaching a groovy, space-like conclusion.

“Reflect” begins with a hypnotic, abrasive groove that evolves in intensity and depth throughout the track. The baseline is accompanied by an energetic and playful synthesiser, together building an expansive breakdown. This follows a rupture in the groove and a sense of resolution.

“Revolt” is an explosion of sounds - it’s the first track I created from the album, and it was inspired by Quirck’s New York Popcorn EP, featuring a snippet from Henriku’s “Listen to this Frank…”. Discovering music that is representative to me from a sonic and personal perspective is always exciting, and the vocal complemented my idea perfectly. With this track, I truly let go and just experimented with transcribing my feelings through sound.

“Afterthought” is spooky ambient, an ease off from “Zoomers Against Capitalism” through sensorial sounds and deep movements. Implementing a similar sound design strategy, the sounds unravel through a mysterious ambiance, no longer chained to a beat.
